Varsity ended their season on Saturday with an exciting Quarter-final game in the State Tournament, giving Bellevue a run for their money the whole way. While they lost with a 0-1 score, they had a season to be proud of. According to our stats parent, Doug Jones, the last time we made State was in 1990. We can now add 2016 to the list!
So it’s finally time to commend all our players, Varsity, JV, and JVC, as they all contribute to the success of the collective RHS team, this year and in future years. Go Riders!
Mon Nov 28th– RHS Girls Soccer Banquet – All Teams
- Potluck dinner followed by team awards and celebrations for players, families, coaches
- 6pm-8pm in the RHS Commons
- Very important – also uniform return point
- By tradition:
- Freshmen/main courses
The banquet is also the best time to return your uniform. But if it turns out that you want to get your uniform out of your house beforehand, I’ll be home this Wed and Thurs evening and you can drop it off to me then.
- Mon Nov 28th – at the Banquet
- Or Wed and Thurs Nov 16th and 17th at Alversons (7-9pm)
Please do NOT turn in your uniform to a coach, to another student, to the office, etc. It needs to come to me directly or to the table we’ll have set up at the banquet, so we can cross your name off the official tracking sheet. Thanks!
Next up – Quarter-Final State playoff game vs Bellevue this Saturday at 7pm at Memorial Stadium. Fight on, Riders!
